High praise for a brilliantly organised Social Day

The trainees at SYNERGIE experienced a working day quite unlike any other: they organised a major team-building event for the children and young people at the Schloss Stutensee facility. On various obstacle courses, the participants were able to demonstrate their dexterity, speed and ability to work as a team. Everyone involved enjoyed a thoroughly successful day that was great fun. Managing Director Nicole Munk is also delighted: „Hats off to them for their social commitment and excellent organisation.“

Volunteering is a matter of course for SYNERGIE’s trainees; since 2011, they have been supporting a charity once a year as part of a ‘Social Day’. For this social commitment, they received In 2019, it even came third in the iGZ Awards for Corporate Social Responsibility.

Of course, a typical working day for SYNERGIE apprentices looks quite different. Five new apprentices have joined us at the start of autumn; spread over the three years of the apprenticeship programme, there are eleven in total. SYNERGIE has been an established Apprenticeship provider for:

  • Office Communication Specialists
  • Marketing and Communications Specialists
  • Human Resources Specialists

A training company from the very beginning

The apprenticeship programme for „Human Resources Services Specialists“ has only been in existence since 2008; it was established on the initiative of employers’ organisations to further professionalise the sector. SYNERGIE has been deeply committed to this as one of the very first training organisations. Those in charge maintain close contact with vocational schools, and SYNERGIE’s Managing Director, Nicole Munk, chairs the examination board at the Karlsruhe Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK).
The scope of duties during the training programme is both wide-ranging and demanding: recruitment specialists draft job advertisements, review application documents, conduct recruitment and performance reviews, analyse staffing requirements, plan staff deployment and must always keep abreast of legal requirements, which can sometimes change rapidly. The focus, however, is on the enjoyment of interacting with people; they engage in dialogue with both client companies and temporary workers.
A „typical“ PDK trainee has a school-leaving certificate, is looking for career opportunities after gaining some initial work experience, or is re-evaluating their career path. Applicants who have dropped out of university are also very well suited. Michael Haitz, authorised signatory at SYNERGIE: „We’ve had very good experiences with this.“ And after the three-year apprenticeship? SYNERGIE is very familiar with the qualities of these apprentices and the value they bring to the company. That is why, as a rule, they are all offered a permanent position. The demand for well-trained staff continues to grow: each of SYNERGIE’s 32 sites is set to train HR service specialists in future.
