Excellent: Gold for corporate responsibility from SYNERGIE

SYNERGIE is committed to corporate social responsibility and has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Seal for its CSR activities.
CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) refers to the social responsibility undertaken by businesses as a voluntary contribution towards sustainable development. At SYNERGIE, social responsibility is not just a concept on paper, but is firmly embedded in the company’s structures: SYNERGIE has voluntarily adopted a Code of Ethics as a guiding principle for its business conduct. „We are delighted to have been awarded this seal, as the values and rules of conduct set out therein ensure a positive working environment and are put into practice – every day,“ said Managing Director Nicole Munk.

Social Commitment

This sense of responsibility is reflected in our support for numerous social projects: for example, just recently, all SYNERGIE branches actively collected parcels for the „Christmas in a Shoebox“ campaign, which benefit children in need. The „Work + Language = Integration“ project, initiated by SYNERGIE itself, enables migrants to enter the labour market and promotes integration. Furthermore, throughout the year we support inclusive and charitable organisations such as wfb Werbeartikel and SOS Children’s Villages. Our employees are also socially committed; the Volunteer Award, established by SYNERGIE, recognises employees who volunteer and provides financial support for their projects. Similarly, on „Social Day“, our apprentices lend a hand to charitable organisations and help people in need.

Active member of the iGZ

Furthermore, SYNERGIE is part of the iGZ which campaigns for fair temporary work. However, we are not merely members; we play an active role within the association: whilst Managing Director Nicole Munk serves as Regional Manager for Baden, our Head of Human Resources and Organisation, Michael Haitz, is involved in the iGZ „CSR“ project group, which champions corporate social responsibility. When it comes to health and safety at work, we place great importance on providing our industrial staff with high-quality equipment supplied by our partner uvex.

The EcoVadis seal

The EcoVadis seal has been awarded to the entire SYNERGIE Group, comprising companies in a total of 16 countries. EcoVadis is the operator of a platform that assesses and recognises companies’ environmental and social performance. The analysis system used comprises 21 criteria and is based on international CSR standards. The assessment takes into account not only fundamental issues such as discrimination and basic human rights, but also, for example, employee health and safety and working conditions. Social dialogue, career planning and further training are also among the criteria considered.
