SYNERGIE is growing

Joining forces makes us even stronger together – true to this motto, the SYNERGIE Group has now acquired Runtime Group GmbH. Europe’s fifth-largest recruitment agency will now have a presence in Germany with around 65 branches. Whilst its focus has previously been mainly on the south, SYNERGIE PERSONAL DEUTSCHLAND is expanding its presence in northern and central Germany through this acquisition.

A key factor in the merger is that the two companies are not only ideally complementary in geographical terms. They both have many years’ experience in managing the HR needs of clients and staff, have enjoyed equal success in the market for just as long, and are guided by a similar corporate philosophy.

The SYNERGIE Group has issued an official press release regarding the merger:

The SYNERGIE Group has signed an agreement to acquire the RUNTIME Group. The transaction is subject to approval by the German competition authorities.

RUNTIME was founded in 1985 and has developed innovative procurement solutions to meet the needs of a diverse and long-standing customer base comprising both large corporate clients and SMEs. With a network of 31 branches, mainly in northern and central Germany, the company is expected to generate turnover of around 80 million euros this year. SYNERGIE has been active in Germany since 2011 through its subsidiary SYNERGIE PERSONAL DEUTSCHLAND (founded in 1977), which has successfully expanded its HR services in the dynamic southern regions of the country.

The new company will benefit from networks and areas of expertise that complement each other perfectly and will have a presence across Germany with almost 65 branches. With this acquisition, SYNERGIE is accelerating its growth in Europe’s second-largest market and is aiming for a turnover of 140 million euros in Germany by 2023.

The acquisition is in line with the strategy of the SYNERGIE Group, which operates in 17 countries, to support SYNERGIE clients in their international expansion. SYNERGIE clients benefit from the global range of HR services and HR expertise on offer.
