Your tasks 

  • Independently preparing, setting up, and operating CNC lathes from manufacturers Wohlenberg, Niles, and Heyligenstaedt in the areas of pipe manufacturing and medium-duty turning.
  • Production according to SAP production orders including operator self-inspection
  • Manufacturing high-quality components for weapon systems through turning, deep drilling, grinding, etc.
  • Checking and measuring manufactured workpieces according to technical specifications and/or inspection plans
  • Feedback of work performance to a MES system

What you need

  • Completed training as a machining technician (m/f/d) specialising in turning, or equivalent, with at least 2 years’ professional experience
  • Ideally, experience operating machines with Siemens control 840D
  • Structured and self-directed way of working
  • Conscientious and safe handling when reading technical drawings
  • Safe handling of conventional measuring instruments in a 3-shift operation
