Your tasks 

  • You will carry out maintenance and repair work on locomotives independently – both as a preventative measure and in the event of a fault.

  • You analyse faults, rectify malfunctions and use modern diagnostic tools, whilst complying with all safety and work regulations.

  • You’ll be working on accident repairs and liaising with the workshop team.

  • You will test systems and document all work carried out in detail.

What you need 

  • You have completed a vocational training programme in the electrical engineering or metalworking sector.

  • You have some initial professional experience in rail vehicle manufacturing – ideally as an electrician or mechatronics engineer.

  • Safety awareness, personal responsibility and reliability are what set you apart.

  • You enjoy working independently and with attention to detail.

  • You are ready to work a two-shift system.

  • Your command of German, both spoken and written, is good.
