Your tasks 

  • Technical and technological design of machinery and plant
  • Visualisation of process flows
  • Involvement in project cost estimates
  • Creating circuit diagrams in accordance with VDE standards using EPLAN Electric P8
  • Hardware and software project planning for complex tasks
  • Risk assessments & safety calculations
  • PLC programming: Simatic, TIA Portal and others
  • Training for staff and customers
  • Planning and carrying out maintenance and service call-outs
  • Supporting projects right through to commissioning at the customer’s site

What you need

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialisation in automation technology, or equivalent technical training, e.g. as an automation technician
  • A strong understanding of engineering and technology
  • Professional experience in the field of automation
  • Proficiency in EPLAN, Simatic and TIA Portal would be desirable
  • Basic knowledge of legal provisions (directives, standards)
  • Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics would be an advantage
  • Willingness to undertake occasional business travel within the region, nationally and internationally
  • Business-level proficiency in spoken and written German and English
  • Confident use of a PC and MS Office
