Your tasks

Scheduling of the vehicle fleet for local and regional transport, taking into account optimal capacity utilisation
Comprehensive planning and management of transport orders
Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, in particular those relating to driving and rest periods, the Working Hours Act and ADR regulations
Procurement and allocation of load units
Ensuring that departures, as well as loading and delivery times, take place on schedule
Monitoring of express and dangerous goods shipments

What you need

A completed vocational training as Freight forwarder (m/f/d), Industrial Business Administrator (m/f/d) or Business Administrator (m/f/d) for Freight Forwarding and Logistics Servicesor a comparable qualification
Work experience as a transport coordinator (m/f/d) for local transport is desirable
Initial experience in transport planning, as well as a good knowledge of local and regional transport routes
Proficiency in MS Office and, ideally, experience with freight forwarding software
A strong customer focus, excellent communication skills and strong negotiating skills
