Your tasks

  • Assisting fitters with assembly and dismantling work
  • Supplying, preparing and tidying away tools and materials 
  • Cleaning and simple maintenance work on components, as well as work in the controlled area, in compliance with radiation protection regulations
  • Wearing and correct use of personal protective equipment
  • Compliance with work instructions, safety rules and access regulations

What you need 

  • A completed vocational training as Assembly Assistant (m/f/d) / Assembly Worker (m/f/d) / Assembly Assistant (m/f/d) / Assembly Staff (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
  • Work experience in the technical and craft sectors, as well as experience in using tools and simple machinery, and initial work experience in nuclear technology or in carrying out dismantling and disassembly work
  • An understanding of technical instructions and drawings (basic level), as well as a willingness to work in accordance with health and safety and work regulations; a ZÜ (reliability check in accordance with Section 12b of the Atomic Energy Act) and a radiation exposure record should ideally be held; a forklift and crane licence would be an advantage
