Attracting skilled workers through European cooperation

As part of a multi-day pre-welding campaign in Barcelona, potential skilled workers for the welding sector were identified and assessed – practical, authentic, and directly aligned with the needs of German production sites.

The aim: to identify skilled workers early on, provide targeted training, and inspire them for a successful future in industry.

Welding training and talent development at the highest level

The CEFOSOL vocational school in Barcelona was a key partner in the initiative. Together, a selection process was carried out that meets talent where they are – and gives them the opportunity to prove their skills immediately.

A multi-month training programme is already planned for the future, which will be oriented towards the requirements of German production sites.
