Your tasks

  • Checking customs-related documents 
  • Preparation and processing of import and export customs declarations 
  • Ensuring compliance with customs regulations 
  • Maintenance of master data and documentation of customs-related processes 
  • Communication with customs authorities, freight forwarders, customers and internal specialist departments 

What you need 

  • A completed vocational training as Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk (m/f/d), Wholesale and International Trade Management Clerk (m/f/d), Industrial Business Clerk (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
  • Work experience as a customs declarant is desirable 
  • Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken 
  • Knowledge of customs regulations and foreign trade law, as well as knowledge of logistics and freight forwarding processes
