Your tasks 

  • Installation, assembly and operation of glass-processing machines, primarily for tubular glass (e.g. flat-runners)
  • You will carry out maintenance, repairs and stock rotations
  • Technical and mechanical commissioning within an ongoing production environment
  • The inspection of the machinery and the documentation of the results in accordance with quality standards 
  • You will manage and monitor production processes within your area of responsibility
  • Ensuring that production processes run smoothly and on schedule in accordance with quality specifications 

What you need 

  • A completed technical apprenticeship as Process Mechanic (m/f/d), Mechanical Engineer (m/f/d) or a engineering degree with relevant professional experience in glass technology 
  • You have relevant professional experience in working with round glass
  • Knowledge of machine operation and CNC programming would be an advantage
  • Understanding and reliably reading technical drawings and documentation
