Your tasks

  • Programming and adaptation of PLC controls (currently Schneider Electric / Modicon, in the future Siemens SIMATIC S7 in TIA Portal) for machines and plants

  • Development and optimisation of automation and control concepts

  • Commissioning of machinery and equipment in-house, as well as supervision of production release.

  • Analysis and troubleshooting of control and automation systems

  • Performing fault diagnostics and system tests to ensure smooth plant operation

  • Support with the design of new machines and plants in close cooperation with design and production.

  • Optimising existing control programmes and processes to increase plant efficiency

  • Documentation of programme adjustments, error analyses, and technical changes

  • Collaboration with internal specialist departments on the further development of automation technology

  • Support with functional checks, test runs and technical acceptance of the systems


What you need

  • Completed electrical engineering training, e.g. as an Electronics Technician (m/f/d) for Automation Technology, Electronics Technician (m/f/d) for Industrial Engineering, or Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d)

  • Knowledge of PLC programming and control engineering for machines and systems

  • Experience with PLC systems, e.g. Modicon from Schneider Electric or SIMATIC S7 from Siemens

  • Basic knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal or comparable programming environments

  • Knowledge of measurement, control, and regulation technology

  • Experience in the commissioning of machinery and automated systems

  • Ability to analyse faults and troubleshoot control and automation systems

  • Knowledge of reading circuit diagrams and technical documentation

  • Good German as well as basic English skills
