Your responsibilities:

  • Working independently to drawings
  • Steel machining
  • Independent quality controls
  • Documentation of work carried out
  • MAG welding (but not continuously)

What you’ll need:

  • A successfully completed vocational training programme in a metalworking trade or an equivalent qualification
  • MAG welding certificates are an advantage, but not essential
  • The ability to read technical drawings and work plans accurately is essential 
  • A car and a driving licence are desirable for getting to work
