Your tasks

Independent commissioning, start-up and maintenance of automation and systems technology on board ships and at industrial sites.
Troubleshooting, diagnosis and rapid rectification of faults in high-voltage systems, control systems and drive technology.
Maintenance, inspection and optimisation of automation systems, alarm and security technology, as well as control and drive systems.
Reading, understanding and implementing electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, P&IDs and wiring diagrams; checking bills of materials.
Budgeting, cost control and support with quotation and post-job costing for service orders.
Documentation of all work steps, preparation of technical reports and service reports, and maintenance of technician checklists; use of ERP/CRM systems.
Coordination with the engineering, purchasing and sales departments; sourcing the necessary spare parts; and providing support with changes and modifications.
Compliance with safety regulations, standards (e.g. DIN EN / IEC) and quality management/safety standards; attendance at regular training courses. Willingness to travel within northern Germany (regionally, occasionally beyond the region).

What you need

A completed vocational qualification as an electronics technician (m/f/d) Automation Technology, Electronics Technician (m/f/d) in Industrial Engineering, Electronics Technician (m/f/d) in Energy and Building Services Engineering, Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
Professional experience as a service technician (m/f/d) in systems engineering is desirable
In-depth knowledge of PLCs/automation (basic PLC programming would be an advantage), control engineering, drive technology, electrical engineering, high-voltage installations, reading circuit diagrams, P&IDs and drawings; basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
Experience with ERP/CRM systems, Office (Word/Excel) and documentation apps; where relevant, CAD and electrical engineering software; mobile devices for service documentation.
High-voltage electrical installations, troubleshooting of electrical and electronic systems, commissioning of automation systems, measurement and testing technology, safety engineering.
Customer focus, ability to work independently, problem-solving skills, ability to work as part of a team, strong communication skills, flexibility, good time management, willingness to travel.
Category B driving licence; willingness to travel throughout Germany and within the northern German region.
