On behalf of our client, an established service provider operating within an international corporate group and specialising in information logistics, document management and the optimisation of digital business processes, we are seeking, as part of our recruitment service, a Senior Strategic Pricing Expert (m/f/d) with a strong focus on Regulation & Governance.

Your tasks

  • You will develop and manage strategic pricing and governance frameworks and ensure their sustainable implementation within the organisation.
  • You will assess pricing strategies, contract models and commercial framework conditions in terms of cost-effectiveness, risks and regulatory requirements.
  • You analyse market, cost and business data and use this to develop well-founded recommendations for sustainable pricing.
  • You will develop the basis for decision-making aimed at optimising pricing structures, business models and commercial processes.
  • You will work closely with Sales, Finance, Controlling and other departments to ensure that pricing measures are implemented in a transparent and commercially sound manner.
  • You will oversee complex tendering and costing processes for strategically important client projects and assist in the assessment of commercial opportunities and risks.
  • You will analyse cost trends, identify opportunities for optimisation and develop forward-looking pricing and management models.
  • You will continuously refine existing governance, pricing and decision-making processes and help to professionalise commercial management.
  • You will produce insightful analyses, simulations and management reports to support strategic decision-making.

Your profile

  • A successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Economics, Business Law, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years’ professional experience in the areas of governance, regulation, pricing, commercial excellence, finance or controlling.
  • A thorough understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance guidelines and governance structures, as well as their impact on business decisions.
  • Experience in assessing contracts, pricing and business models from an economic, regulatory and risk-based perspective.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in developing and refining processes, guidelines and control mechanisms.
  • The ability to present oneself confidently to a variety of stakeholders and to explain complex issues in a way that is clear and tailored to the audience.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and confidence in using the standard Microsoft Office applications.
  • A structured, independent and results-oriented approach to work, as well as a very good command of German and a good command of English.
