Your tasks 

  • Set up the workstation and prepare welding equipment and tools in accordance with the production documentation
  • Tack-weld components in accordance with specifications, ensuring they are free from distortion and visually clean in the TIG and MAG welding processes weld together
  • Carry out welding work in accordance with safety, quality and manufacturing specifications
  • Aligning and inspecting assemblies and products, preparing them for further processing, carrying out visual inspections of welded joints and performing simple testing procedures
  • Touch up welds where necessary, document test results and affix test markings, and ensure the workplace is kept tidy and clean

What you need 

  • A completed vocational training as Welder (m/f/d) / Construction Mechanic (m/f/d) / Metalworker (m/f/d) / Industrial Mechanic (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in welding, particularly in TIG and MAG welding processes
  • The ability to read and understand technical drawings and production documentation, technical knowledge, a meticulous and quality-conscious approach to work, and experience in aligning and inspecting welded assemblies would be an advantage
  • Willingness to work a two-shift rota and the ability to travel to the place of work
  • Ability to work as part of a team, reliability and initiative
