Your tasks

  • Manufacture, machining and assembly of window components (plastic, timber, aluminium) in accordance with production plans
  • Cutting to size, milling, drilling, grinding, and fitting of profiles, seals and fittings
  • Operation and monitoring of machinery (saws, lathes and milling machines, drilling, laminating or powder coating systems)
  • Quality control: dimensional accuracy, surface finish, functional testing of fittings
  • Administrative tasks: checking stock levels, documenting work orders, recording key performance indicators
  • Involvement in the commissioning of new plants and in the optimisation of manufacturing processes
  • Ensuring cleanliness and tidiness in the workplace (5S)

What you need

  • Completed vocational training in window manufacturing, metal/materials engineering, woodworking or a comparable qualification; ideally, some initial work experience in window production
  • Basic knowledge of reading technical drawings and parts lists
  • Attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, accuracy, ability to work as part of a team
  • Willingness to work shifts or multiple shifts; where necessary, willingness to help out on the production line
  • Physical stamina (standing, lifting up to approx. 25 kg)
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and, where applicable, power tools; confident use of measuring instruments (rulers, callipers)
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety
