In this role, you will play a key part in the design, implementation and further development of modern Microsoft 365 and cloud environments. What you’ll be doing 

  • You will be responsible for the implementation, further development and operation of modern Microsoft 365 environments, with a focus on collaboration, identity management, messaging and endpoint management.
  • You will design and manage cloud and hybrid workplace solutions and ensure that the systems in use operate in a stable, secure and high-performance manner.
  • You will develop client and platform architectures for complex Microsoft 365 environments and oversee their technical implementation from the planning stage through to go-live.
  • You automate recurring processes and administrative tasks using PowerShell, Power Automate and other technologies from the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • You will advise clients on the roll-out of new services and help them to design modern workplaces that are efficient, secure and future-proof.
  • You will develop security and authorisation strategies, evaluate new security features and ensure compliance with relevant requirements.
  • You will analyse existing client management and device platforms, identify opportunities for optimisation and support their technical development.
  • You will be responsible for the evaluation, implementation and secure operation of applications, and will provide support for the deployment and lifecycle management of modern software solutions.
  • You keep an eye on technological trends relating to Microsoft 365, cloud services and the Modern Workplace, and actively contribute new ideas to client projects and internal services.


This is how you’ll win people over 

  • You have extensive experience in the Microsoft 365 environment and are well versed in modern cloud and hybrid architectures.
  • Topics such as identity and access management, security services and authorisation models form part of your technical toolkit.
  • You have experience in setting up, operating and further developing hybrid messaging and collaboration platforms.
  • You are very familiar with the migration of on-premises environments to the cloud, as well as the operation of existing infrastructure.
  • You combine technical expertise with a solution-oriented and collaborative approach to customer advice.
  • You do not view governance, compliance and process requirements as a mere formality, but as a key factor in the success of modern IT environments.
  • Ideally, you will already have gained experience working within complex or regulated organisational structures.
  • Automation is part of your day-to-day work, for example using PowerShell, Power Platform or similar technologies.
  • Certifications in the Microsoft or IT service management field are an advantage, but not essential.
  • On a personal level, you impress with your strong communication skills, your initiative and your ability to inspire people with technical solutions.
  • New technologies spark your ambition, and you are constantly developing your professional skills.
  • You take a pragmatic approach to issues and have the stamina to successfully implement innovative solutions.
