Your tasks

Technical and managerial supervision of a workshop team (10–20 staff members)
Capacity and resource planning, holiday coordination and shift planning
Optimisation of work processes, material flow and internal logistics
Quality assurance and final inspection of manufactured products in accordance with DIN standards and internal quality standards
Ensuring health and safety, order and cleanliness in accordance with 5S standards
Close collaboration with the design, project management and procurement teams
Technical support for bespoke products and complex projects
Induction and training of new staff, and the development of specialist staff within the team

What you need

Completed vocational training as a master craftsman (m/f/d) in the metalworking sector or a comparable qualification
Professional experience as a foreman (m/f/d) in the management of a laboratory equipment workshop is required
In-depth knowledge of managing staff and a workshop
Proficiency in the use of production software and MS Office
Strong leadership and communication skills
A customer-focused mindset and a strong commitment to service
