Your tasks

  • Development and design of electronic systems for complex naval vessels, specialised vessels and mega-yachts – ranging from power distribution and radar and sensor systems to automation technology
  • Creation of circuit diagrams, cable lists and block diagrams using E-CAD systems (e.g. EPLAN Electric P8, Zuken E³.series)
  • Integration of modern navigation, communication and surveillance systems into the overall ship system
  • Coordination of interfaces with internal departments such as Mechanical Engineering, Equipment and Control Systems, as well as with external suppliers
  • Supporting shipyard production in the implementation and installation of electrical components
  • Technical documentation and involvement in certification and approval processes carried out by classification societies (e.g. DNV, Lloyd’s Register)

What you need

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification, such as a state-certified technician specialising in electronics
  • Professional experience as an electronics design engineer (m/f/d) in the shipbuilding industry is required
  • In-depth knowledge of the use of E-CAD systems, as well as an understanding of PLC and bus systems
  • Experience with maritime industry norms and standards
  • Proficiency in using PLM/PDM systems and MS Office
  • Team spirit, a structured approach to work and a willingness to collaborate across disciplines
