Your tasks

Development and design of electrical components for highly complex defence systems – e.g. fire control systems, sensor platforms, mobile air defence systems
Creation of circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, cable harness drawings and parts lists using E-CAD systems (e.g. EPLAN Electric P8, Zuken E³)
Integration of sub-assemblies such as power supply, communications technology, control systems and sensor technology into protected platforms (e.g. vehicles, container solutions, mobile systems)
Coordination with related disciplines (mechanics, software, systems engineering) to ensure functionality within the overall system
Contributing to EMC-compliant design, earthing concepts and protective measures for military environments
Technical documentation in accordance with relevant military standards (e.g. VG 96900, MIL-STD)

What you need

A degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics, or a technical qualification with relevant professional experience
Professional experience as a design engineer (m/f/d) in electrical engineering within the defence industry is required
Experience in using E-CAD tools (e.g. EPLAN, Zuken) and an understanding of EMC, protection classes and earthing concepts
An understanding of security requirements, standards and specifications in the defence industry
A structured approach to work, a team-oriented mindset and a strong sense of responsibility
Willingness to undergo a security vetting under Section 8 of the Security Vetting Act (SÜG)
