Your tasks

  • Design and construction of pipework systems for various applications in shipbuilding and plant engineering.
  • Creation of 3D models and technical drawings using state-of-the-art CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, Inventor).
  • Carrying out calculations for strength and flow analysis of pipework systems.
  • Working closely with project managers and other specialist departments to ensure that projects are delivered on time.
  • Contributing to the drafting of technical specifications and tenders.

What you need

  • A degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience as a design engineer (m/f/d) in pipework construction is desirable
  • In-depth knowledge of pipework design and the relevant standards
  • Proficiency in using MS Office and CAD software
  • Knowledge of how to use calculation software for pipework systems
  • Creativity, team spirit, strong communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset
