Your tasks
- Maintenance, servicing, repair and overhaul of plant equipment by analysing fault reports and service and maintenance schedules
- Assisting with the carrying out of extensive repairs, modifications and new builds under expert supervision
- Replacement of parts at one’s own discretion
- Agree on the scope and timing of the work
- Proficiency in the operation of all equipment in the team area
- Independent installation on machinery and plant
- Programming of plant engineering systems
What you bring
- A completed vocational training qualification as a maintenance technician (m/f/d) or an equivalent qualification.
- Professional experience as a maintenance engineer is required. Knowledge of plant engineering (mechanical/electrical)
- Knowledge of plant engineering (mechanical/electronic)
- DGUVA3 – Inspection of portable equipment
- In-depth knowledge of Siemens S7 and Rockwell
- Basic knowledge of drive technology, basic knowledge of robotics, and adhesive bonding and welding techniques
- Technical understanding of complex systems
- a wide range of electrical and mechanical skills
- High levels of motivation, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work independently and solve problems systematically
- Good knowledge of computer technology and standard Microsoft software; a basic knowledge of English
- Willingness to work at weekends (shift pattern)
- excellent ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to undertake training and continuous professional development (including short training courses abroad or within Europe)
