Your tasks 

  • Independent assembly, maintenance and repair of complex machinery and plant in the shipbuilding industry
  • Carrying out troubleshooting and diagnostics on mechanical and hydraulic systems
  • Ensuring high quality standards through checks and documentation of the work steps
  • Close collaboration with engineers and other specialist departments to implement technical solutions and optimise manufacturing processes
  • Support with the training of new staff and the sharing of specialist knowledge
  • Compliance with safety regulations and standards throughout the entire work process

What you need 

  • A completed vocational qualification as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), fitter (m/f/d), shipbuilder (m/f/d), mechatronics technician (m/f/d), construction mechanic (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
  • At least two years’ professional experience in mechanical engineering, shipbuilding or a similar industrial sector is required
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Teamwork skills and strong communication
  • High commitment and flexibility
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Independent and precise way of working
