Your tasks 

  • Assembly of X-ray tubes and their sub-assemblies in a cleanroom
  • Planning and execution of prescribed workflows based on test and process instructions
  • Identifying defects in components or processes and rectifying them within the scope of authorised processes
  • Documentation of the work steps in the IT system
  • Active support for specialist departments in the implementation of automation projects
  • Assistance with factory relocation to the new technology centre 
  • Identifying areas for improvement

What you need 

  • A completed vocational training as Industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
  • First professional experience in the assembly of sensitive components, ideally in the medical technology environment.
  • Basic knowledge in the areas of mechanics and automation
  • Knowledge and experience in relation to X-ray tubes or emitters would be advantageous
  • Willingness for 2-shift or 3-shift operation, as well as temporary Saturday work
  • Local flexibility at the deployment locations Erlangen and Forchheim
  • Excellent German, both spoken and written, and good knowledge of English.
