Your tasks
- Responsibility for the metalworking workshop (e.g. production of prototypes and fixtures using conventionally controlled drilling, turning or milling machines; welding)
- Proactive support of the experimental run on the plant (e.g. assembly, modification and maintenance of casting moulds; preparation of the aluminium melt; preparation)
- Co-ordinating necessary maintenance and repair work on internal systems and machinery, and supporting the materials laboratory in the preparation of mechanical samples
What you need
- A completed vocational training as Industrial Mechanic (m/f/d) / Mechanical Engineer (m/f/d) / Manufacturing Mechanic (m/f/d) / Maintenance Fitter (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in an industrial environment/metalworking is necessary
- Safe handling of metalworking machinery, as well as very good German and basic English skills
- Strong technical understanding, a high capacity for comprehension, and the drive to find creative solutions
