Your tasks

Independent management of accounts receivable and accounts payable
Creation, maintenance and management of customer and supplier master data
Processing of payments and monitoring of incoming payments
Operations management, including the resolution of outstanding items and discrepancies
Independent debt collection process with agreed escalation levels
Production of monthly and annual financial statements
Working with DATEV and ERP-supported accounting and reporting processes
Close cooperation with tax advisers and internal stakeholders

What you need

A completed commercial apprenticeship, ideally specialising in bookkeeping/accounting, or an equivalent qualification
Professional experience as a financial accountant (m/f/d) for a mail-order company is required
Experience in dealing with accounts receivable, accounts payable and financial statements
Very good command of MS Office, particularly Excel
In-depth knowledge of DATEV
Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Navision, SAP, Sage or similar)
An understanding of accounting processes in logistics-related companies
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach
