Your tasks

  • Installation and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment on ships
  • Carrying out fault diagnosis and repairs on board
  • Integration and testing of electronic control systems
  • Collaboration with other specialist departments to optimise ship operations
  • Monitoring of safety regulations and quality standards

What you need

  • A completed vocational qualification as an electronics technician (m/f/d) specialising in equipment and systems, an electrician (m/f/d), an electronics technician (m/f/d) specialising in energy and building services engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Work experience as an electronics technician (m/f/d) specialising in shipbuilding is desirable
  • Knowledge of marine installation engineering and switchgear
  • Willingness to work at sea and to travel
  • A good command of English would be an advantage
  • Team-oriented approach
