Your tasks 

  • Independently setting up, operating and monitoring conventional lathes and/or CNC lathes
  • Machining of workpieces in accordance with technical drawings, work plans and manufacturing specifications
  • Turning of individual parts and small batches for machines, assemblies and plant components
  • Measuring and inspecting the manufactured parts for dimensional accuracy, quality and surface finish
  • Correcting machining parameters in the event of dimensional deviations
  • Setting up machinery and selecting and changing tools
  • Carrying out simple maintenance and servicing work on the machines
  • Assistance with general tasks in mechanical manufacturing


What you need 

  • A completed apprenticeship as Machinist (m/f/d), Turner (m/f/d), or a similar one A qualification with relevant work experience in a metalworking trade
  • Experience in conventional turning and/or CNC turning
  • Reading technical drawings with confidence
  • Knowledge of how to use measuring equipment and testing tools
  • A meticulous, independent and reliable approach to work 
  • Technical understanding and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work as part of a team and willingness to work in an industrial manufacturing environment
