Your duties

  • Handling of import shipping operations, including manifests, documentation and dispatch processes
  • Preparation of freight invoices and completion of the final vessel settlement 
  • Processing of container authorisations and exemptions
  • Coordination and communication with customers, shipping lines, terminals, public authorities and other business partners
  • Checking terminal invoices and handling complaints
  • Support with customs-related matters in the area of imports 
  • Checking, correcting and processing summary declarations (SumA) in accordance with customs regulations
  • Ensuring that import procedures are completed on time and in accordance with the law

What you bring with you:

  • A completed vocational qualification as a shipping clerk (m/f/d), freight forwarding and logistics services clerk (m/f/d), freight forwarding clerk (m/f/d) or freight forwarder (m/f/d)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English 
  • International and Cultural Understanding 
  • Driving licence
