Your tasks

  • Installation and laying of metal and plastic pipes on ships.
  • Carrying out TIG and MAG welding work on pipework.
  • Assembly and commissioning of pipeline systems.
  • Carrying out quality checks and leak tests.
  • Documentation of work and creation of technical reports.
  • Compliance with safety standards and regulations.



What you need

  • A completed vocational qualification as a HVAC plant mechanic (m/f/d), a plant mechanic (m/f/d) specialising in plumbing, heating and air conditioning, a pipework fitter (m/f/d), metalworker (m/f/d), shipbuilder (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience as a HVAC plant mechanic (m/f/d) in shipbuilding is desirable
  • A good knowledge of pipework construction and pipework installation in shipbuilding
  • Valid welding certificates are an advantage
  • Ability to work as part of a team and flexibility
