Your tasks

  • Carrying out welding work on aluminium components in shipbuilding
  • Welding of assemblies and sections to specification (e.g. MIG/TIG welding)
  • Production of welds on plates, sections and complex structures
  • Work on section construction, as well as on ship hulls and superstructures
  • Tacking, aligning and finishing components
  • Working to technical drawings and welding procedure specifications (WPS)
  • Carrying out visual inspections and, where necessary, reworking welds

What you need

  • A completed vocational training as a welder (m/f/d), locksmith (m/f/d), structural mechanic (m/f/d), metal technology specialist (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
  • Work experience as an aluminium welder (m/f/d) in section construction for the shipbuilding industry is desirable
  • Experience in aluminium welding (ideally in shipbuilding)
  • Knowledge of MIG and/or TIG welding
  • High motivation and commitment
