Your tasks 

  • Carrying out mechanical maintenance and repair work
  • Dismantling and fitting of mechanical vehicle components
  • Inspection of assemblies for wear, damage and functionality
  • Replacement of wear and spare parts

What you need

  • A completed vocational training qualification as a rail vehicle maintenance technician (m/f/d), industrial mechanic specialising in plant engineering (m/f/d), industrial mechanic specialising in maintenance (m/f/d), industrial fitter (m/f/d) or an equivalent qualification
  • Professional experience as a rail vehicle maintenance technician (m/f/d) is required 
  • A good knowledge of mechanics and assembly; confidence in using hand tools and measuring instruments
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, ability to work as part of a team
