Your tasks 

  • You will assist our fitters with installation work in the areas of plumbing, heating and air conditioning
  • You will transport materials to the building site and make them available there
  • You will carry out simple preparatory work such as chiselling, drilling and fitting fixings
  • You’ll keep the building site tidy and lend a hand with dismantling and waste disposal

What you need

  • Experience on building sites or in building services engineering – for example, as a plumbing assistant, construction assistant or technical assistant
  • Knowledge of one of the following areas: plumbing, heating, air conditioning or electrical work, whether you are a semi-skilled worker or have completed an apprenticeship as a plant mechanic, plumber or fitter
  • Manual dexterity and a willingness to get stuck in
  • Reliability – you arrive on time and do a tidy job, even when things get hectic
  • Team spirit, because nothing gets done on its own on a building site
