2021 „Christmas Shoe Box“

600 PACKS – THIS YEAR’S CAMPAIGN WAS ANOTHER HUGE SUCCESS!

This year marks the tenth time that SYNERGIE has taken part in the „Christmas in a Shoebox“ campaign. This season, the parcels from German-speaking countries are once again being sent to Eastern Europe.

We are delighted to be able to make such a substantial contribution to this wonderful, international Christmas campaign once again this year, with nearly 600 parcels. Thanks to the kind support of all of you, our dear parcel packers, you are once again bringing Christmas joy to many children in need and putting a smile on their faces.

From the start of February, you’ll be able to find out where your parcel has been sent by entering your postcode on the ‘Christmas in a Shoebox’ website.

Internationally, the campaign is known as „Operation Christmas Child“. Since 1993, it has reached over 186 million children in need across more than 150 countries worldwide.

We would like to thank everyone who has supported this campaign and who will be bringing immense joy to children in need in Eastern Europe.

In mid-November, the packed shoeboxes were taken from the SYNERGIE branches to regional collection points. There, they are checked by volunteers and prepared for dispatch. At the end of November, the parcels will be transported to their destination countries and distributed to the children in the two weeks leading up to Christmas.
