As a candidate, you\u2019re feeling nervous \u2013 hopefully you won\u2019t forget anything. Our checklist reminds you of the most important points \u2013 have a read now!<\/p>\n<p><strong>What should I wear?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a look at your clothes the day before, lay them out, and wash or iron them again if necessary<\/li>\n<li>You might want to polish your shoes again<\/li>\n<li>For women: apply subtle make-up<\/li>\n<li>If necessary: pop to the hairdresser\u2019s a few days beforehand<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How do I get an interview?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Check how to get there by car or public transport<\/li>\n<li>If necessary, you could also ask the company for advice on how to get there or have a look on their website<\/li>\n<li>Allow plenty of time, check for traffic jams in advance, or take an earlier train<\/li>\n<li>If travelling by car: bear in mind that you may have to spend some time looking for a parking space<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preparation of content<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Take another close look at the job advertisement<\/li>\n<li>View the company\u2019s website: general sections, news updates, information on careers within the company<\/li>\n<li>Draw up a list of questions to be discussed<\/li>\n<li>Have another look at your own documents and, if necessary, take a printed copy with you<\/li>\n<li>Have a notepad and pen to hand<\/li>\n<li>Find out general information about the sector and the job profile; if necessary, carry out newspaper research or similar<\/li>\n<li>If necessary, look up information about the person you\u2019re speaking to, for example on XING<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When you receive an invitation to a job interview, you should definitely ask for the name(s) of the person(s) you will be meeting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Just before the interview<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Don\u2019t arrive too early or too late: about 10 minutes before the appointment is perfect<\/li>\n<li>If you arrive on time and have to wait, you might want to look for a nearby caf\u00e9 or similar.<\/li>\n<li>If visiting a larger company, arrive in good time; allow for possible waiting times at reception or a longer walk through the building<\/li>\n<li>To calm yourself down, just before you start: take a deep breath in and out, and give yourself a smile<\/li>\n<li>Whilst waiting in the meeting room, if the person you\u2019re meeting hasn\u2019t arrived yet: have another look at the job advert or perhaps flick through any information leaflets that are lying around.<\/li>\n<li>Feel free to ask the person you\u2019re speaking to whether you\u2019re allowed to take some of the material on display with you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are using SYNERGIE to look for a project-based role or a permanent position, your recruitment consultant will brief you again before the interview and, where possible, accompany you to the interview.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Das Bewerbung Schreiben war erfolgreich, die Bewerbung kam beim m\u00f6glichen neuen Arbeitgeber gut an und die Einladung zum Vorstellungsgespr\u00e4ch flattert ins Haus.
