Are you looking for a new challenge? You\u2019re not alone at the moment: the management consultancy EY surveyed more than 1,500 employees and found that half of them are interested in changing jobs. Many would like to leave the virtual standstill of the past two years behind them and are longing for a fresh start with interesting career prospects.<\/p>\r\n<p>The online job board Stepstone has seen a doubling in search enquiries since the start of the year. There is a wide range of vacancies, as the current high demand for workers and skilled staff makes abundantly clear. As a recruitment agency, we meet this demand for our client companies by providing solutions in the form of temporary staffing or permanent recruitment. At SYNERGIE, we pursue two approaches to filling our internal vacancies:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Training<\/li>\r\n<li>Retraining\/Career change<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><strong>Investing in the future: Companies need to provide more training<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>SYNERGIE has been an established training organisation for many years. We currently have eleven apprenticeship places filled, and a further eight are due to be added from autumn. We offer apprenticeships in the following trades:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Office Administration Assistant<\/li>\r\n<li>Marketing Communications Specialist<\/li>\r\n<li>Human Resources Services Specialist<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>The DIHK, too, is advising its member companies to place greater emphasis on apprentices in future. This is a recommendation that numerous firms have already taken to heart: according to the DIHK Labour Market Report, one in two companies intends to take on more apprentices in future. Last year, over 500,000 young people applied for an apprenticeship, 24,000 of whom were unsuccessful. At the same time, however, 49,000 apprenticeship places remained unfilled.<\/p>\r\n<p>Why is this the case? The app developer TalentHero investigated how young people perceive apprenticeship vacancies. The result: job adverts are often difficult to understand and therefore come across as untrustworthy. The reasons for this are said to be buzzwords, Anglicisms and technical jargon. By contrast, genuinely relevant information about the place of work, career development opportunities after the apprenticeship and the salary is hard to come by. There is therefore room for improvement here in order to\u00a0<a href=\"\/en\/news\/was-die-generation-z-vom-arbeitsmarkt-erwartet\/\">Generation Z<\/a>\u00a0(born between 1995 and 2010). The DIHK Labour Market Report also addresses this issue and recommends that member companies make contact with schools in good time.<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>A career change into the perfect job<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>The current situation also presents a great opportunity for motivated career changers; they are determined, flexible and keen to learn. These are qualities that are urgently needed in the current labour market. Fortunately, companies\u2019 reluctance to take on career changers has diminished.<\/p>\r\n<p>We have worked with\u00a0<a href=\"\/en\/news\/quereinsteiger-jobs\/\">Career changers have already had positive experiences<\/a>\u00a0We have long recognised them as an important target group.
